Tragedy wrought by Floods – A helping hand lent

2009, a year of nightmare for northern part of Karnataka, as the region encountered one of its worst kinds of floods. Shri  Arvind Limbavali soon felt urgency of his presence in the most difficult times of the people. As an in-charge minister of Bagalkot district, he immediately initiated and monitored rescue operations, rehabilitation camps, and finding permanent solutions for the flood with a war foot zeal.

His experience as a successful student leader made him to utilize youth force to take-up ‘en-mass clean- up’ activity in flood hit region. He mobilized Rs 40 Crores from teaching community as flood relief contribution and donated to Chief Minister’s relief fund.

People from Mahadevapura constituency generously donated food-cloths and essentials to the north Karnataka flood hit victims.
